Privacy policy
Last updated 16 October 2026
This policy explains what Thumbnail Cat collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Discord: the user IDs and names of people on a project's team, and the messages, images and button presses sent to the bot in a project's channels.
- Roblox: your game's ID, its homepage thumbnails, their statistics and audience breakdowns, and the Open Cloud API key you give us.
- Purchases: who bought credits for which project, the amount and the Paddle transaction ID. Paddle collects your payment details and billing information; we never see your card.
Why we use it
Only to run the service: tracking thumbnails, producing analysis and drafts, posting results to your Discord channels, keeping track of credits and answering support requests. We don't sell personal data, show ads or use it for anything else.
Who we share it with
- Paddle, which processes payments as merchant of record.
- AI model providers, which receive thumbnail images, statistics and your team's messages to the bot so they can produce analysis and drafts.
- Discord and Roblox, whose platforms the service runs on.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the data on our server.
How long we keep it
We keep a project's data while it's tracked, so the analysis can learn from its full history. When a project is removed, its data is archived and deleted on request. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or its deletion by emailing support@thumbnailcat.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object or complain to a data protection authority.
This website
This site uses no analytics or tracking cookies. The checkout page loads Paddle's payment form, which Paddle's own privacy policy covers.
